SKF Needle Roller Thrust Bearing With A Form Stable Cage High Precision
Brief introduction
Thrust roller bearings are separable bearings, can only withstand axial load and a slight impact, to limit the shaft (or shell) of the axial displacement in one direction, it can be used as single-axis to the position. But its carrying capacity is far greater than the thrust ball bearings.
The single direction thrust ball bearing consist of a shaft washer, a housing washer and a ball and cage thrust assembly.
The bearings are separable so that mounting is simple as the washers and the ball and cage assembly can be mounted separately.
The types: bearings with a flat seat surface on the housing washer, bearings with a sphered seat surface and bearings with a
sphered housing washer can be used together with a sphered seat washer
This type bearing can accommodate axial loads in one direction and thuslocate a shaft axially in one direction. They must not be subjected to any radial load.
Thrust Roller Bearings are used for axles of axial load and radial joint load, but the radial load shall not exceed 55% of axial load. Compared with other thrust roller bearings, such bears are provided with lower friction coefficient, higher speed and self-aligning properties.The rollers of these bearings are of spherical shape, and the spherical raceway surface of the housing washer is self aligned.

SKF AXK 0414 TN Bearing SKF needle roller thrust bearings are equipped with a form-stable cage to reliably guide and retain a large number of needle rollers. The diameter deviations of the rollers within one assembly are within 2 μm, enabling these bearings to contain heavy axial loads and shock loads. These bearings provide a high degree of stiffness within a minimum axial space. SKF supplies needle roller thrust bearings in two designs: needle roller and cage thrust assemblies, AXK series and needle roller thrust bearings with a centering spigot, AXW series.
Because of all the possible combinations, the proper washers must be separately ordered.
